What makes this Reiki Class different? Teresa doesn't just "teach a Reiki class." She teaches humans about Reiki and explores how you can bring your own unique gifts to the world - during and after the workshop. Why THIS Reiki Workshop? This is for you if... * you learn best with small, in-person groups * you want to have time to practice the new skills * you are opening up intuitively and would like to connect with others who are, too * you want to learn from someone who has experience healing themselves and others - humans and pets - (animal specific reiki will be offered in the summer) * you want to learn more about a heart-centered business approach if you wish or different modalities - for example - yoga * you want "sticky learning" from someone who specializes in adult learning in their day career * you feel drawn to facilitating Reiki and landed on this page (for a reason!) This session is the second level (or degree). Here's what we will cover: * Revelation of the Reiki symbols * The meaning of each symbol and how to use them * Receive your Reiki empowerment (called Reiju) * Reiki Level II attunement ceremony that connects you with the Usui Reiki symbols * Practice the new symbols with a classmate * Demo and Practice: Distance healing techniques * Review: Sensing Energy and Boundaries/Grounding * Review: Gassho meditation * Practice: Byosen Scanning-Scanning the energy field * Practice: Kenyoku - dry brushing or clearing of the energy field * Gyoshi ho - Sending Reiki with the eyes * Helpful Reiki treatment tips * The heart-centered line of work * Ethics, Standards of Practice, Documentation * Q&A Before Our Session: Required: *Reiki Level I and 21 day self reiki routine. *Please provide your Reiki Level 1 Certificate before the session if attuned with another facilitator *3 case studies (friends/family) Optional and Highly Recommended: *Sign up for an in-person Reiki Session for yourself at a discounted rate. *Attend a Reiki Share.
