Shoden, the First Degree, (Beginning Teachings in Japanese) is designed for those who wish to begin their learning in the traditional Japanese roots of the Usui Reiki Ryoho system. This course is spread over four weeks to ensure a comprehensive and fulfilling learning experience, allowing you to fully integrate the teachings into your life. If you’ve been craving a deeper connection to yourself—and a gentle, grounded introduction to the traditional roots of Reiki—this course is for you. Reiki Level I: Shoden is where we begin. You'll learn to work with your own energy, connect to the core teachings of the system of Reiki, and build a lasting foundation for self-healing. This class is uniquely spaced out over four weeks for a reason: 💛 So you have time to integrate 🌿 So the energy has space to settle 🌀 And so your practice can truly take root 100% of our students have shared how much they appreciate this slower pace. It allows for real learning—not just information, but embodiment. Each week builds gently on the last, helping you feel more confident in your practice. What we’ll explore together: * The 5 elements of Reiki * Traditional Japanese techniques * The Reiki Precepts: the heart of the system * Daily self-Reiki practice * Hands-on healing techniques * The history and Japanese roots of Reiki * Energy awareness and building presence At Unleash Your Inner Peace, we stay close to the traditional Japanese teachings, honouring the origins of Reiki as a spiritual and energetic practice—not just a technique. What’s included: * Reiki I Shoden Manual * The Four Shoden "attunements" * Certification upon full attendance * Ongoing support (yes, even between and after classes!)
