• Learn Reiki 1, 2, 3 Workshop - for People;

• Bring Your Dog to Yoga;

• Meditate with a Shelter Pet

• Restorative Yoga;

• Yoga Nidra and Sound Journey;

• Special Events and combinations of any services;

• Free Consult Calls;

• Workshops; and

These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods and services that are displayed on our Website at the time you access it. This includes all services that are waitlisted, unlisted, currently unavailable, or out of stock products.

 

All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our goods and services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all goods and services we provide. You agree to purchase goods and services from our Website at your own risk.

 

6. Disclosure of Limitations

• Reiki and yoga are complementary health practices and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

• Reiki and Readings are subject to interpretation and in no way replaces professional counseling from a licensed counselor or therapist and cannot be relied upon in lieu of sound legal, medical, or financial advice from licensed or qualified professionals. 

• Your intuitive reading cannot offer legal, medical, business, or financial advice nor does any portion of your reading from Teresa Montalbo purport to do so. You should not rely on an intuitive reading to make any decision that would affect your legal, financial, or medical condition. If your inquiry involves the law, finance, or medicine, then you should seek the advice of a licensed or qualified legal, financial, or medical professional. Also, a reading cannot replace qualified mental health care. 

• For pets, consult with a veterinarian and pet’s healthcare team before starting any new wellness practice. A reiki session cannot replace a qualified medical and behavioural canine team.

• Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

 

Video Reiki and/or Reading Recordings Teresa Montalbo may, at your option, provide video conference reiki sessions “distance reiki” and/or intuitive readings through third party platforms or hosts, such as Skype, Zoom or Google, Facebook, or Instagram. These video reiki sessions and/or readings may from time to time be recorded. Your participation is your consent to attend. Before consenting to a video reiki session or reading, please go over any questions or concerns you may have with Teresa Montalbo. By commencing a video reiki session or reading, you are consenting to the terms herein. Likewise, please be advised that you are not permitted to record video readings without express, written permission from Teresa Montalbo. If you would like to record your reading, please ask before doing so.

 

Confidentiality of Reiki and Readings. Teresa Montalbo exercises reasonable diligence in maintaining the confidentiality of your reiki session and your reading and will not voluntarily, knowingly, intentionally, or willfully disclose your identity or the contents of your session(s) to third parties. However, if Teresa Montalbo genuinely believes disclosure is required to: (1) prevent imminent harm or risk of harm to yourself or to another, (2) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or (3) protect or defend Teresa Montalbo against claims or threats of claims, then Teresa Montalbo reserves the right to do so to the extent reasonably necessary. Please keep in mind that no legally recognized privilege exists between a reiki practitioner or reader professional and client the way a privilege might exist between an attorney and client, doctor and patient, husband and wife, or priest and penitent.
 

Fortune Telling Laws. Any and all readings provided by Teresa Montalbo neither claims nor pretends to tell fortunes and neither claims nor pretends to use occult powers in ways that would run against such laws. In certain jurisdictions, an intuitive reader professional is required to disclose to you that readings should be for entertainment purposes only, and if such a law applies to your reading, then you are hereby on notice thereof.

7 . Booking and Payment

• Services must be booked through our website or by contacting us directly.

• Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

 

Payments

We accept the following payment methods on our Website:

• Payment of Debit or Credit via PayPal / Square app through wix.com platform.

• Cash and/or Interac E-Transfer as payment methods are accepted if arranged in advance. 

• We do not accept cheques and we do not process plastic cards on site.

 

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.

 

If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

 

Goods and Services Refund or Exchange Policy.

Services purchased through Teresa Montalbo are final sale. There are no refunds or returns available. 

 

If an event or service is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, attendance, emergency, or other unknown circumstance at the discretion of Teresa Montalbo or third parties like rental venues, you will be notified by email as soon as possible and welcomed to attend on another date.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We understand that things happen. At our discretion, we will ask for payment for future services to be made at the time of your booking, in advance, to hold your appointment.

9. Limitation of Liability

Unleash Your Inner Peace, Teresa Montalbo, shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Government actions or regulations

• Strikes, labor disputes, or other industrial disturbances

• Epidemics or pandemics

• Power outages or interruptions in telecommunications services

In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible, detailing the nature and extent of the event. Our obligations under these terms and conditions shall be suspended for the duration of the Force Majeure event.
